What is Raw Collective?

The name "Raw Collective" is deeply rooted in who we are as a people. In our eyes, being RAW means being real in everything we do. It means embracing the imperfections, the chaos of everyday life, and the individual aspects that make up who we are. We live in a world that constantly pushes towards perfection, but doesn’t take the time to reflect on what it takes to get there. We want RAW to be a reminder that value is found in what is genuine, authentic, and unique to each individual. Additionally, RAW is directly reflected in our visual identity. We have become obsessed with the beauty of natural, raw materials that elevate the world around us. Woods, plants, stones, lights, and the list goes on. We aim to exemplify this through the pieces we create and the spaces we design. We look to draw heavy inspiration from the art of vintage clothing: Raw hems, natural fading + distressing, muted color schemes, worn textures, and the imperfections that make every piece feel “one of one”. Lastly, we want to note that RAW is more than just clothing. RAW was created with the intention of building a community of individuals who not only have a love for fashion, but strive to continuously be the best and most authentic version of themselves. We believe that there is something powerful about surrounding yourself with people who encourage you to create, grow, and challenge yourself all while maintaining the purest, most RAW version of yourself.
